Chad Hendricks
25 YEARS of STORY TELLING
For more than 25 years, Chad Hendricks has been shaping stories across film, music, and illustration. A true creative force, Chad is a filmmaker, published children’s author, illustrator, musician, and mentor — a “full band in one man.” His work blends imagination with purpose, leaving a mark on both the entertainment industry and the community he serves.
Chad’s film credits include projects like Me and Mrs. Jones (2018), Boss Moves (2021), and Kracker Jack’d (2003). His eye for storytelling behind the camera has made him a respected cinematographer and director, with a growing filmography that highlights his passion for bringing unique perspectives to the screen.

CHEERS to 25 YEARS
Beyond film and books, Chad’s artistry extends into music and composition. Known online as The Conductor, he explores the rhythm of storytelling through sound, often performing, composing, and collaborating with other creatives.
The "Pair o' Deez" movie soundtrack features songs like "Jimmy Shimmy Shaved," "Someone Farted," and "Shittin' On The Dock" by the artist Pair o' Deez. You can listen to the soundtrack on music platforms such as Apple Music and Spotify.
A guitarist's life is a parody of alcohol and a corporate job. He finds the sadness of losing his family and kicking the bottle isn't as hard as chasing a faded dream.

Chad’s impact reaches far beyond his own work. As a Teaching Artist at The Performers Academy in Jacksonville, Florida, he leads the Creative Genius after-school and summer programs, where youth can explore acting, singing, poetry, dance, fashion, and music. These programs are offered completely free to students, creating safe spaces where young people can find their voice, build confidence, and grow through the arts. Chad’s mentorship has touched countless lives, inspiring the next generation of storytellers and leaders.
With more films in development, community programs in motion, and new creative projects on the horizon, Chad continues to expand his universe of artistry. Whether behind the camera, on the page, or in the classroom, his mission remains the same: to create, to uplift, and to inspire.
"Sweet Home Duval County"-Chad Hendricks
Chad writes: " This is my love letter to the city of Jacksonville and the Jaguars! When the Jags goto the Super Bowl this year, maybe I can performs this with Bad Bunny for the Halftime Show:) Thank you Ronnie Van Zant & Lynyrd Skynyrd for the inspiration. I hope yall dig it:)"
In 2025, Chad expanded his creative portfolio with the release of his children’s graphic book "I Wanna Be Like Mike", which he both wrote and illustrated. Drawing comparisons to Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein, the book combines playful imagery with meaningful lessons, showing kids the power of individuality and imagination.
Once upon a time, in a land where folks spoke in riddle & rhyme...There lived a lad who loved to shoot hoops, every morning at eight after a bowl of Fruit Loops. "I wanna be as great as Michael Jordan you see, with my tongue hanging out as I dunk on thee!" Somewhere in between chasing his hoop dreams, the lad never learns to read or write.
"I Wanna Be Like Mike" written by Chad Hendricks is a Dr. Seuss & Shel Silverstein type-of-tale that gets to the point. What point? That if you don't goto school, you'll end up working in a burger joint! Will the lad make the grades to play at the University?
I hope you learned how to read, so that you can tell me:)

Every frame is a postcard home.
Chad grew up making things to show his parents—sketches, songs, short films. They’ve since passed, but he still creates as if they’re in the front row, aiming to entertain them and make them proud. His first notes and storyboards were held up at the kitchen table. Today, every film, book, and class he leads carries that same energy: “Watch this.” It’s a quiet promise to his parents—and a loud celebration of their love. The work is playful, heartfelt, and intentional. He says it’s “for the kids,” but anyone who knows Chad knows it’s also for Mom and Dad.
